<p>Logo-ul Alfa Romeo a luat nastere odata cu fabrica, in 1910, numita <strong>Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili</strong> (ALFA). Numele de Romeo a fost alaturat in 1916, cand compania a fost cumparata de <strong>Nicola Romeo</strong> si fabrica a fost adaptata productiei de armament pentru Primul Razboi Mondial.</p>
<p>Sigla a fost create de un desenator, <strong>Romano Cattaneo</strong>, inspirat pe de-o parte de steagul orasului Milano, dar si de un simbol al casei Visconti – sarpele cu un om in falci. Asadar, logo-ul pe care il stim si astazi, jumatate drapelul Milano, alb cu rosu si jumatate sarpele-dragon mancator de oameni.</p>
<p>De-a lungul timpului, logo-ul general a suferit mici schimbari, insa, in mare parte si-a pastrat si forma rotunda, dar si cele doua elemente simbolistice.</p>

<p>Compania a luat nastere in 1913, cand <strong>Lionel Martin</strong> si <strong>Robert Bamford</strong> au fondat o fabrica ce, ulterior, urma a se chema Aston Martin. La acea vreme, fabrica se numea Martin &amp; Bamford Limited si producea masini de competitie. Dupa o vreme, cei doi au produs o masina de curse mai sofisticata, numita <strong>Aston Martin</strong>, dupa fondatorul companiei si dupa numele traseului de viteza pe traseu montan, <strong>Aston Clinton</strong>.</p>
<p>Pentru logo, incepand cu 1927, a fost aleasa o pereche de aripi, peste care e trecut numele complet al companiei. Aceasta alegere esta datorata asocierii masinilor produse cu viteza.</p>

<p>n 1899, fostul angajat al lui Karl Benz, <strong>August Horch,</strong> decide sa isi creeze propria fabrica de masini, numita A. Horch &amp; Cie. 10 ani mai tarziu, isi face o alta companie care ii pastreaza numele, dar ulterior, fiind dat in judecata de partenerii de afaceri, este nevoit sa renunte la numele de Horch.</p>
<p>Copilul unuia dintre noii sai parteneri a venit cu numele de Audi, pentru noua fabrica. Acesta studia limba Latina si, Horch (<em>ro = asculta!</em>), in Latina, se traducea cu cuvantul <em>Audi</em>. Imediat, ideea propusa de baietel a fost acceptata si pastrata pana in ziua de azi. Asadar, in 1910 a luat nastere <strong>Audiwerke GmbH</strong>. In 1932, compania s-a afiliat la <strong>Auto Union</strong>. Auto Union avea logo-ul cu cele 4 inele interceptate, logo folosit numai la masinile de curse. Ulterior, acest logo a fost adoptat de catre Audi.</p>

<p>Creatorii universului BMW se pare ca nu au avut nicio intentie de a intra in domeniul auto. <strong>Karl Friedrich Rapp</strong> si <strong>Gustav Otto</strong> au deschis portile a doua fabrici separate de avioane, care, ulterior s-au unit sub numele de <strong>Bayerische Motoren Werke AG</strong> (Fabrica Bavareza de Motoare). Chair daca cei doi pionieri ai brandului nu au avut treaba cu masinile, Josef Popp, Max Friz si Camillo Castiglioni au avut roluri inseminate in pozitionarea marcii BMW ca un producator modern de masini.</p>
<p>Logo-ul rotund reprezinta elicea unui avion Luftwaffe, creat in fabrica germana. La acea vreme, avioanele erau pictate in culorile regionale si in culorile steagului Bavarez – alb si albastru. Se pare ca pilotii vedeau alternarea culorilor alb si albastru sip e elice, de aici si logo-ul impartit in 4 pe care il cunoastem acum.</p>
<p>In timpul Primului Razboi Mondial, BMW era un producator major de motoare pentru avioane, contractat de govern. Dupa razboi, prin tratatul de la Versailles, Germaniei i-a fost interzisa productia de avioane, asadar BMW a fost obligat sa-si schimbe afacerea. La inceput a facut frane pentru trenuri, dupa care biciclete cu motor, motociclete si masini.</p>
