Au fost nenumarate tentative de a “sparge”/moda Playstation-ul 3, dar toate fara succes. Acum, dupa 3 ani, se pare ca un hacker a reusit marea performanta de a sparge faimoasa consola. GeoHot sustine ca este doar o chestiune de soft si ca nu trebuie intervenit asupra cip-ului.  Eu sunt convins ca Sony nu va sta cu mainile in san si va face in asa fel incat sa remedieze problema descoperita de GeoHot.
